Martha Stewart is the bomb! I love her show, her sheets, and even her “Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs”. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Ingredients
Makes 1 dozen
- 12 large eggs, room temperature
Directions
- Place eggs in a large saucepan. Cover them with cool water by 1 inch. Slowly bring water to a boil over medium heat; when the water has reached a boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit 12 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to a colander; place under cool running water to stop the cooking. Eggs can be peeled and served immediately. Remaining eggs, with shells on, may be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Great ideas there, thanks. I honestly took the plunge and got me some chickens last week! Now I have more eggs than I know what to do with!. You might like these egg recipes.

I am also considering buying chickens. How many did you get? I have a family of 4 and was thinking of starting off with 2 chickens.

I think Martha was the most important influence in my cooking career. “A dollop of cream” Most detailed and classic. Can never go wrong with her. Enjoy those eggs:-)
